Now I must have missed the important part...
I have the same problem.
Have smf RC1.2 installed, TinyPortal 0.8.6 and coppermine latest version (upgrade from 1.33)

The coppermine worked, so did smf/TinyPortal.
Bridging without errors. Versioncheck ok.

Now if I try to synchronice the bbs groups with Coppermine's groups according to 5.3.3 of the documentation is sais I should go to the gallery, enter admin mode and click on the "Groups" button. But if I do so, the admin coppermine smf-admin opens. I cant access the coppermine-admin anymore. Stupid mistake I make, I guess. Can you help me?

Erm, what? Post the username and password of a non-admin account.

Sorry, I didn't mean to hijack something. I thought it would be okay to post it there because it wasnt closed or solved or something. Know better now.
The username is testuser and the pw test1, not user1- sorry again. Its a non-admin account.

Did you try deleting cookies?

I had the same problem. Deleted cookies and was working after that.
