Cookie problem with phpbb and coppermine
« on: May 26, 2006, 03:17:14 am »

hey,

i just recently had a problem with my phpBB cms that was resolved by changing the cookie name and adding a "_id" at the end of the cookie name. now the bridging does not work anymore. i think it has to do with the cookie prefix or something like that when using the bridge manager. can someone please help me with this and what is the prfix or cokie name supposed to be?

thanks.

Re-run the bridge manager and enter the correct prefix.

here is the required information. not sure if this is neccessary, i just need what the cookie prefix is because i changed the forum cookie name after i upgraded to phpBB.20, because i had log-in problems after the upgrade. bridgeing has always worked fine for me, thanks.

First of all update your gallery.

Your cookie prefix is 9ja_forum_id_

Your forum's cookie path must be set to '/' for bridging to work.

In your forum's admin panel. I'm not sure exactly where since I don't use phpbb.

If you make it '/' then both your gallery and forum will work fine. Remember to clean out your old cookies whenever you change cookie settings.
