Install problems: phpbb and coppermine using the same database

Hello.
My webhoster only provides one database. So far, this database is used for my phpBB. Is it possible to use this one database for coppermine and phpBB? Installing copermine there appeared a problem. The install file is locked or something. Installing coppermine and phpBB I need to use the same database and consequently the information of that database.

I just try to install coppermine first and later install phpBB and then bridge it. Is this generally possible?
I would be happy getting an answer on that issue.
