Change Folder Directory that Coppermine is in
« on: May 16, 2006, 08:38:38 pm »

I've searched, but have not found the exact answer to my questions:

I downloaded and installed 1.4.5 into a folder from my root. (http://www.mysite.com/foldername).
I have a 1.4.3 version installed at (http://www.mysite.com/coppermine).

They each have a unique database

Can I rename the 1.4.3 coppermine folder to something else (say, coppermine_old), then rename the 1.4.5 folder to coppermine? I think I also need to change the folder name in config to coppermine from what it is now.

Would that cause any problems with anything? Uploads, downloads, anything?

Yes, you can rename the folders. Then go into Config and update the gallery URL.
