Problem with pictures, i can't see them
« on: October 07, 2003, 12:16:15 am »

hi... well my question and problem is that i upload a pictrue and even from the website or a ftp way i can't see it, the picture is there and i know becase i make sure entering with a FTP program.

but when i go to see it instead of the picture it appears a X, i make a right click over it and see the properties and check the url of the pict.. then i chck it with my FTP profgram and its there right where it is supose to be and the url says.... i tried all the things withthe CHMODS but nothing... i put the permissions to the albium folders and subfolders and etc.. and nothing.... which is more weird is that when i check the url of the pict that doesnt appear i copy it and put it on my explorer and prss enter and it appears (of course that alone) but it does.... i check it the configuration of the gallery and evething should be ok, like the weight.

Please help... y was for 4 hours trying to get it.... maybe is the version ... dunno.. and i know is not the host because my friend has a website in the same host and it works for him...

Your problem is the watermarking mod you're trying to use.  I can tell from the picture properties:
http://usuarios.lycos.es/ucklan/logo.php?picturename=modules/coppermine/albums/userpics/thumb

Disable the watermark feature and see if that fixes your problem.  If it does, it's just a matter of properly configuring the watermarking mod to work.  I'm guessing you put the watermark files in the wrong place.

change the name of functions.inc.php to mod.functions.inc.php or something
Replace include/functions.inc.php with an original copy from your backup...don't have a backup? download the full package and don't change it keep it as backup.

Upload the file from your backup: functions.inc.php to the include folder. Do not rename it...

I told you to rename the other one locally so you would not lose your modification in case you could repair it and use it later.

Your problem may be related to this warning message on your site
Code: [Select]
Warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /data/members/free/tripod/es/u/c/k/ucklan/htdocs/header.php:32) in /data/members/free/tripod/es/u/c/k/ucklan/htdocs/modules/coppermine/include/functions.inc.php on line 49

whatever code you have in htdocs/header.php is sending header before the page is complete and not allowing htdocs/modules/coppermine/include/functions.inc.php to work correctly

Something else to think about.  In functions.inc.php, at the very end of the file if you have
Code: [Select]
return 'logo.php?picturename='. path2url($pic_row['filepath']. $pic_prefix[$mode]. $pic_row['filename']);you should replace it with the original
Code: [Select]
return path2url($pic_row['filepath']. $pic_prefix[$mode]. $pic_row['filename']);
