I tried setting up several albums in different categories.  I am having issues with getting registered users being able to post photos in their respective sub categories.  It keep on making the users post thier photos in a User Gallery  and thats all...I went through the entire setup and cant find anything incorrect on there. 

Any ideas?

Did I get you right: registered Users should be able to upload their files to public albums?

1) Are your albums PUBLIC? (Album propierties settings)
2) Are your registered users allowed to upload to public albums? (Group settingsl)

Okay, 1.4.5 is where im at now...

Yes, I am still having that issue where registered users cannot upload file to any of the albums I created.   Perhaps if I can get a screen shots, of a working setup...I can see what im doing wrong....or any ideas as to what im doing wrong?

This is what I have:

1. I have all my categories set up including my sub categories.


but I dont know how to get the the groups to work with the registered users.  Everytime I click on assign albums in groups, it keeps saying.  This group has no special access.   This is where im lost at...

All you need to do is to set 'visitors can upload files' to yes in the album properties page of the albums you have created.

I still cant get this to work....The registered users can only upload to the user galleries and no other..
