After upgrading losing User/Admin Mode buttons
« on: April 05, 2006, 11:55:47 pm »

I just upgraded from 1.3.x to 1.4.4 and have noticed that after comming by to my Gallery the User/Admin Mode button is gone.

Instead I have these buttons below:
Quote
Create / order my albums     Modify my albums     My profile     Sort my pictures

If I log out and then log back in the User/Admin Mode buttons are there again.

Note:  I am using the phpBB Bridge.

I believe this is happening when I leave the site and I am in user mode.

Then when I come back I see this message "Sending you to Admin Mode".  Yet, I do not have a way to get out of it [other than logging out].

However, I think if I am at my phpBB site and hit my Gallery Link there, I get the complete Admin Buttons and User Mode Button....

Okay, I think this is some kind of Bridge Issue...

Revisit Gallery from a freshy opened Firefox or IE - I get the message "Sending you to Admin Mode" [even if I was in user mode before].  However, I am not fully in Admin Mode [kinda half way there with some buttons] and I can not see the Admin/User Mode Links....

Revisit Gallery from my phpBB forum [there is a link to the gallery from there] and I never get the "Sending you to Admin Mode".  If I was before user mode, then I am in user mode.  If I was in Admin Mode, then I am in Admin Mode.

Those "admin" links are specific to non-admin users. You are logging in with a nonadmin account. You need to log in with an actual admin account to see the admin buttons.

Nope, I am logging in as a Admin, should I get a screen shot that shows {GD}ODIE3 with the full Admin Panel?

Do not like the buttons in Admin Mode at all [I only go there when needed].  Plus, I am not really in Full Admin Mode. ;)

Any case, that is your responce for help? "never leave admin mode, user mode is useless."  With that and TranzNDance telling me that I do not know how to login as a Admin, you two have been very helpful.  :P
