joomla related...
« on: April 04, 2006, 09:51:46 am »

Like many others, I've tried and failed to integrate coppermine and joomla. But now I'm wondering if there's a way to import users from my CPG to Joomla. I was managing my site with notepad alone before, but now that I've discovered CMSes and Joomla particularly, I don't want to go back. Previously, my site's viewers only had to register for the photo gallery; now I'd like to require them to register to view the rest of it, but I don't want to put them through re-registration. If I could pull it off, I wouldn't mind sticking with the coppermine gallery either.
Is there any way to do this?
I've searched some, but didn't come across anything about exporting/importing db tables between the two. I'm hoping I just wasn't wording it right. Thanks for any help.

no cpg -> joomla converter has been posted yet that I'm aware of.
