Version Tool Results after the Upgrade to 1.4.4
« on: April 02, 2006, 09:15:31 am »

Hello!

I used the Version tool after the upgrade from 1.3.3 to the 1.4.4 and I received some interesting feedback on some files. These are the ones that were red :

- install.php (the upgrade docs say to delete prior to upgrading)
- anycontenet.php (the upgrade docs says not to overwrite this file)
- versioncheck.php (The file on your webserver seems to be newer than your Coppermine version. You are either using a development file (you should only do so if you know what you are doing), or you have upgraded your Coppermine install and not uploaded include/init.inc.php --- this is not true as the inc.php file is the updated version)

then a few files are album files are highlighted in red : The file/folder "albums/index.php" has not been found on your server, although it is mandatory. Upload the file to your webserver (using your FTP client). ---- ??? ---- should I upload this file to the server as suggested and delete the index.html?

other "mandatory files" are the "no ftp uploads" and the userpic/index.php file

lastly, there are numerous files which it says are writable... this is not true unless they need to be 555

Please advise. Thank you.

ignore all of those if the information provided doesn't mean anything to you.
