« on: March 28, 2006, 04:58:18 am »

I followed the steps in installing but there's an error:

Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'admin@localhost' (Using password: YES)

you can't make the mysql data up, you have to set up the database, mysql username and password and make sure the user has access rights. Ask your webhost for the data you need to enter.

That is exactly the same problem I'm having.  I never installed Coppermine myself, I just went through fantastico and it was working fine up until about two hours ago.  Now I'm getting that exact same error msg.

then do as I suggested and ask you webhost if you have no idea what to enter. They may have docs that are mandatory to read before asking them questions directly, and it might be a good idea to read the coppermine docs first as well.
