Change background colour
« on: March 22, 2006, 06:50:53 pm »

I want to change the main outer background to blend in with my site.  I've edited what I thought was the background and added the custom headers and footers, but still want to lost the outer white.

Secondly, I would like to alter the table rows that say 'Random Files' and 'Last Additions'

Ok managed to sort that now, just want to remove the border that is there between the 'powered by Coppermine Photo Gallery' and my footer, but can't see where it's coded too

what border? There is only some space as far as I can see. Post a screenshot with the area highlighted that you want to see removed.

whoah, looking at your html output shows that you have a lot of improper markup - there mustn't be more than one <head> nor <body> section. Undo the stuff you did to add your own disclaimer to the page bottom, edit http://www.simaviatorsuk.org/gallery/themes/classic/template.html, find
Code: [Select]
{GALLERY}and add after it (into a new line)
Code: [Select]
<a href="mailto:symon@etech-online.net" class="copyright">Webspace provided by Symon Vettraino</a>

ok sorry.

All sorted now. I know the HTML is probably a mess, but it gets me by.  Going to try and clean up sometime.

Following your note of placing the disclaimer code, I also managed to add the extra row for the blue bit I had which has done away the need for my custom footer
