A welcome box??

Hi, i have seen on someones coppermine website that they had a welcome box on the homepage. Rigth before the galleries and albums tables, they had a table that said welcome and gave some info about the site. How can i add that to my site.

well i been doing a search for it and i can't find any thread son it, i put in welcome box, welcome table, customized homepage etc and i found nothing. if you know a topic that has it, let me know or if you can help, let me know,

actually here is a site that someone on your dev team runs. When you look at it, he has that section that says welcome and it right before the albums. I want to add hat, but dont know how. here is the link

OK, I think he did that using the plug-in called MiniCMS.  You can download it here
