Missing pictures
« on: January 08, 2004, 11:47:13 am »

Hello,
I've a little problem:
I uploaded about 10000 pictures via FTP, I inserted them in my albums via "batch add pictures" and...Coppermine says I have about 9950 pictures on my gallery!
:? I miss 50 pictures... I should recheck all gallery to find these pictures, I know, but I have more than 500 gallery! it's a crazy job  .
There is a way to check the whole "albums" directory to find missing pictures?

Thanks in advance.

do you have some GIFs you were going to batch-add? GIF isn't supported (at least when using GD2).
To answer your question: out-of-the box, there's no routine that will run through your db entries and compare them with your file structure, except the batch-add routine itself. Why don't you try to batch-add for a second time and see if it finds some pics that haven't been added yet?
You should also have a look on folder names containining dots in their name, they will be skipped when batch-adding.
