Erase you gallery as in "use your FTP app to delete all files and folders belonging to coppermine from your webspace"? Or as in "I have no idea how to drop the database tables created by Coppermine"?
How did you set up Coppermine in the first place? Blind guess is that you set it up using your webhost's control panel app (some crap like Fantastico). If this assumption is correct, ask your webhost for support on how to get rid of it if you don't need it any longer and above mentioned methods (deleting files by FTP and dropping database tables using phpMyAdmin) don't work for you (or you have no clue what I mean).
Suggestion: avoid double negatives in your question - it's not obvious what you're actually asking for.

If you can't delete files you uploaded yourself, you'll have to ask your webhost for support. Probably an ownership issue. Ask your webhost to CHOWN the folders and files for you.
Not related to Coppermine though, but improper server setup.
