Templates affected in 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 Upgrade??

Are there any changes to the templates in upgrading from 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 ?
I only recently upgraded to 1.4.3 and the templates are a pain..mine are very customized.

Can I upgrade without having to overwrite the templates?

to clarify: it's fine to leave template.html as-is, but it's mandatory to edit theme.php

if you want to use a theme that was made for cpg1.3.x with a cpg1.4.x gallery, you have to apply some modifications as suggested here: http://coppermine-gallery.net/demo/cpg14x/docs/theme/edit_theme.html

That's not an issue when updating from 1.4.3 to 1.4.4 though.
