Trouble bridging phpBB 2.0.18 and Coppermine 1.4.3
« on: February 23, 2006, 06:01:54 am »

Both services work standalone, but when I bridge, Coppermine acts as if I am not logged in.  I have checked my cookies, and they are both different.

I log in at my boards, then click a link I posted to the gallery, then it doesn't let me do anything.

please help!
Coppermine install: http://mavenhuffman.com/swgndd/coppermine
Forum install: http://mavenhuffman.com/swgndd/board
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.3
Forum version: phpBB version 2.0.18
Test user account: test/test

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.mavenhuffman.com/swgndd/board
Relative path to your BBS's config file: ../board/
Use post-based groups?:  0
cookie prefix - swg_ndd -edited, i put the wrong one in there...

I was in the middle of editing my post, as I hit enter too quickly :)

thanks for any help you can give!
I am having the exact same problem as this guy:

If I try and login to CPG it redirects me to the phpBB2 login prompt (so  far so good)
I login to phpBB2 (no problem)
I get re-directed to cpg - but I'm not logged in.
and there's no way to get logged in to cpg without disabling the bridge using bridgemgr.php

Same solution too, set the correct cookie prefix in the bridge manager which is swg_ndd and set the cookie path to '/'.

I went through both phpbb and cpg to make sure everything matched up with the use of www, and to make sure my cookies were called the right stuff, and cleared my cookies and temp files, but when I try to log in it still doesn't work.  Do i make the test account on phpbb or on cpg?

phpbb of course, a cpg test user account would be of no use when bridging is enabled, as coppermine user management is then dropped in favor of phpbb's user management.
