PHP does not have SQL support enabled
« on: February 20, 2006, 10:35:41 am »

Hi,

pse help.

I installed MySQL, Apache, PHP but the Coppermine Installation page displays the message (see header).

I've tried reloading, followed the manuals, activated the extension (for mysql in the php.ini file). Nothing works.
What the problem - I'm exasperated.

That might require a php.ini edit. I'm not sure. Have you tried downloading/installing a webserver that comes with all of that at once? Something like WinLamp? Might make it easier for the inexpierenced web server tech  ;) I honestly, don't know much about this, but I, for testing purposes, installed xampp (very similar to winlamp) on my machine for testing/playing with code...so maybe this would work for you?

Not sure what you meant by "reloading" but did you restart apache after editing php.ini? Please note that the CPG forums is not the best place to ask for server setup support.
