Undefined property

Hi,
 I've just installed coppermine after reading the docs and all seemed to go OK but when I go to my gallery I get the following line at the top of the page.

Warning: Undefined property: active in /home/sites/site17/web/photogallery/include/debugger.inc.php on line 43
and when I try to log in as admin it appears to accept the information but doesn't actually sign me in.
The URL for my gallery is http://www.elfa.org.uk/photogallery
Any help would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks in advance!

Either apply the fix mentioned to the file and line in the error message or update your gallery. Older versions have bugs which is why new versions are released.
