cpg1.4.2 to smf 1.1RC2 - problem with users
« on: February 15, 2006, 11:17:36 am »

I am having a problem integrating between cpg1.4.2 and SMF 1.1 RC2.

Whenever I click on users, I get the following error message:
Code: [Select]
While executing query "SELECT count(*) FROM `musicman_smf1`.smf_members WHERE 1" on 0

mySQL error:

Coppermine install: http://www.ancientcave.com/image
Forum install: http://www.ancientcave.com/smf
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: SMF 1.1 RC2
Test user account: Because this requires an administrator account I cannot give any account details here.  If needed, a test account can be made and the details given in private.

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://www.ancientcave.com/smf
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../smf/
Use post-based groups?:  1

Just a thought, could this most likely be because of the fact that users should be configured thorugh SMF, and not CPG?

Please update your gallery to the latest stable version (currently 1.4.3) before requesting support.

I upgraded to 1.4.3 and then ran the database update utiltity for CPG.  That seemed to do the trick.

I'm actually surprised how a bridge meant for SMF 1.0 works perfectly for 1.1
