ok this is what i want to do

i have two forums on the same server but different domains

ive installed coopermine on one and bridged it etc so it uses phpbb login etc

i now want to have another coppermine that uses the same everything as the first but bridges to 2nd forum and has different template.

what ive done so far.. uploaded 2nd coppermine with same config details as first.  all gravy baby except that now the pictures are coming up as deadlinks

how can i go around these, as i rather not have to upload the picture twice everywhere!

and if this works, it means that i can offer my picture section as a add on for lots of different forums and end up having a populer site!

of course it will mean trust as other admins end up my admins, but thats all gravy.

please please help someone?

i tried to add the path straight to the database in the path coloum but didnt work

you'll have to modify the pic paths of the second coppermine install: log in as admin, admin mode, config: change "The album directory" from

albums/

to

../folder_name_of_first_install/albums/

and do the same with "The directory for user pictures".

hmmm im getting an

make sure you have different cookie names. To find out about the error, switch on "debug_mode".

i checked both sql setting and i think they are right.  its trying to use the image rating config details for the forum access.

shall i change localhost to the IP address of the server?

decided to less adverterous and just copy the folder, rename it and upload to the same domain. now just need to get that silly phpbb thingy working, will keep u all posted
