I'm sure this has been answered before but I can't seem to find it. I'm getting the following error.  What does it mean?

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 8388608 bytes exhausted at (null):0 (tried to allocate 1536 bytes) in /home/virtual/site50/fst/var/www/photos/include/picmgmt.inc.php on line 176
