How do I get rid of the Last additions area?

Hello,

I was just wondering and I hope this is the right area to post this and if its not I"m sorry.  I was wondering.  How do I get rid of the Last additions area on my coppermine homepage?

to get rid of the meta album, go to coppermine's config and edit "the content of the mainpage" as suggested in the docs. To get rid of the menu entry, edit your theme and remove the menu entry. Specify what you actually want to accomplish. A link to your page might help as well.

I have one more question. Is there away to get rid of the last uploads page?  The thumbnails.php?album=lastup area?
