MySQL database swap
« on: January 02, 2006, 01:42:29 am »

I am moving webhosts and have installed coppermine 1.3.3 on the new host as well as had it installed on the old host. I've taken all of my photos/images and uploaded them to the new host in the albums directory just as they were on the old host.  I've exported my MySQL database file, saved it as 'seerofso_copp1.sql' onto my own harddrive, then gone in and imported it to the new host.  However, my new host, URL, isn't showing any of my albums or photos/images at all.  What exactly do I need to do/follow to get this thing working ?  I really don't want to have to upload 300+ images and sort them.  What am I doing wrong here ?

Make sure you've updated include/config.inc.php.

If that doesn't help, please post a link.

First, make sure you have all file permissions set correctly.  Second, it takes up to 72 hours for URL changes to populate.  You may have to wait a bit.  Third, you may have to manually update config.inc.php to reflect new database information.
