Hello there! and First of all: Thanks to the developers for this very nice piece of software!
This is my first post so I'll introduce myself: I am running a little site for a group of friends (mostly here in Germnany, but also from Spain, France and the US) so we can stay together, arrange our next parties and post the photos, of course! The site uses phpBB and the bridged version of coppermine with all users and groups coming from phpBB.

Now I have two questions actually:

1. The smaller problem:
After upgrading to 1.42 with bridge to phpBB (using users and groups from the board) none of the default 'registered' users would be shown the photos anymore, even though it worked on the previous install. So I created a new group called 'fotos' in phpBB, assigned some users to it and changed the permissions of some albums respectively. That worked but isn't really what i wanted.

2. The graver problem:
So, to solve the first problem I played around some and finally disabled the bridge using the bridgemanager. Big Mistake! since I cannot logon anymore at all now and am practically shut out of coppermine. When I try to log on it accepts my username but when I get forwarded to the index page I am not logged in. This looks like a cookie problem to me but it's definitely not my browser. What is my problem? I'll be happy to provide more detail if needed. Also if this question has been posted (and answered) here before please post a link if you like because I have already searched the forum but didnt find anything.

Thank you the quick reply, BOTH problems solved! You are my hero for the day!

I can log in again and the bridge seems to work just as it should, with the 'registered' users from phpbb being able to see all albums. Instead of phpbb.inc.php I used phpbb2018.inc.php.
