NEED HELP with installation on ipower

ok so i got to the installation process...and im trying to install on ipower server

but im having problem with the database....
can someone who did a previous installation on ipower guide me through this process.?

the problem im having is "Could not create a mySQL connection, please check the SQL values entered

MySQL error was : Access denied for user: 'Metropro@host259.ipowerweb.com' (Using password: YES)"

i made sure the pass and user name is correct.

the domain under which im trying to install is www.metropromos.com

any help will be greatly appreciated

Did you add the user to the database after creating the user?

yes i set up the user name but its still giving me the same error message

Setting up the username is not the same as adding the username to the database to give it permission to access the database. That is because not all usernames have to have access to all databases. Also, make sure that the username does or does not need to use a prefix.

You're welcome. For the benefit of ipower users who might have the same question... which was the problem? Was it the user addition or username prefix?

make sure that the database name contains ur prefix_(name of the database you created) when installing
