Having trouble with uploads
« on: December 16, 2005, 08:01:49 pm »

When I uplaod a picture it comes up as a white box with a red X but never uploads all the way.

Like I go to the upload screen browse my pictures & pick one & hit Continue

then it says

1 uploads were successful.

Please click 'Continue' to add the files to albums.

So I click Continue

It then asks me where I want to place the file But the picture is just a white box with a red X

So I pick where I want it then choose continue

& it says

The previous file could not be placed.

You have successfully placed all the files.

Any idea what is going on?
Thanks for all the help!
Brian

Ok I did what the instructions said but now it say this...

Critical error

The file 'albums/userpics/10019/100_16092~7.jpg' can't be inserted in the album

Error executing ImageMagick - Return value: 127

Cmd line :
/usr/local/bin/convert -quality 80 -antialias -geometry 150x100 'albums/userpics/10019/100_16092~7.jpg' 'albums/userpics/10019/thumb_100_16092~7.jpg'

The convert program said:
sh: /usr/local/bin/convert: No such file or directory

File: /home/necron99/public_html/gallery/db_input.php - Line: 304

any idea what to do now?

Again thanks for the help!

use GD if you don't have ImageMagick. For details, search the board for the error message you get.

I'm sorry I didn’t make this clear earlier but the admin guy I had moved out of state & was not going t be able to help me out anymore. I have very limited knowledge in all of this.

What is GD?

I'll do some searching but any help would be great!

Yeah, only the server admin can install it for you.

You'd need to tell Coppermine to use GD2 in config.
