« on: December 16, 2005, 06:34:13 pm »

I have a big problem :-(, because I had whole database in a private provider and this provider REMOVED my database which was dedicated to Coppermine gallery. I have nothing at this time means I haven't any database.
I have coppermine files but I don't have databse :-(,
Coppermine maybe write any configuration of the database in the coppermine files ???
How to make dump of databse, I don't have database as I mentioned before.

If you don't have database then you can't make dump. I am afraid you will have to reinstall coppermine.

Pawel,

I'm surprised that your provider doesn't have a backup of your database.  That should be a given. Something that your provider should be doing on a regular basis.  Before reinstalling, you may want to look for a new provider if they don't provide that kind of service.

While it's regretable that there's little you can do about getting back all that data that was stored in your database, your writing here  is a good reminder to everyone that they should back up their database (do a dump)  and albums on a regular basis.
