« on: December 16, 2005, 02:19:23 am »

Assuming I am moderately proficient in PHP, is it possible to run my Coppermine gallery and PHPbb forum on different servers an still use the same database......this is for anticipated bandwidth reasons as I dont run my own server

you'll be able to use the same database, but you won't be able to bridge, as cookies can't be read across domains, and bridging relies on cookies.

What files would I have to modify? I wouldn't mind the loss of bridging (I guess..... ???) if I could read the same database
