Problems With CPG1.4.2 and IPB2.1.3
« on: November 29, 2005, 02:38:09 pm »

Hello Im having some problems with the bridge, integrating CPG 1.4.2 and Invision 2.1.3.

I have the following issue when trying to bridge coppermine and XXX:

Coppermine install: http://harrys-hideout.net/gallery
Forum install: http://harrys-hideout.net/forums
Coppermine version: cpg1.4.2
Forum version: Invision 2.1.3
Test user account: user: Demo  //  pass: demoacc

BridgeManager settings:
Forum URL:  http://harrys-hideout.net/forums
Relative path to your BBS's config file:  ../forums/
Use post-based groups?:  1

ERROR:
A few problems,

The log in works at the forums, but when I click on Log in at the gallery, it takes me to the forums log in page. I log in, but doesnt take me back to the gallery. I manually go back to the gallery, but it still doesnt say logged in, just log in.

Is the bridge compatible with 2.1.*, or just 2.0.*

Login works fine for me using that test account. Redirection is only possible with some forums, not all. It was designed for 2.0 by an ipb user. I don't have ipb so support for the bridge is limited.

Ensure you are consistent with your use of www. See if you can set the cookie domain to be .yourdomain.com in your forum's config.
