Hi,

After installing the upgrade to 1.4.2 throught Fantastico, I could not save any changes made in config, at this time of the installation I was able to login! after hitting the restore to factory settings, It did not recognise my username or password, then tried the 'I forgot my password', and now not even my e-mail is recognisable!!!

Any help in solving this would be most appreciated.

we don't know the fantastico stuff, but in the past Fantastico installs used to be buggy. My recommendation: forget about fantastico. Download the cpg1.4.2 package and do as suggested in the docs that come with it.
