Trouble Installing cpg1.4
« on: November 29, 2005, 12:25:16 pm »

Hi there,

I have cpg1.3 installed on my plesk server for one site. I didn't have to install ImageMagik or GD and it is working fine and lets me upload images with no problems. I recently tried to install cpg1.4 on a new site and when i try to upload images it says

"PHP running on your server does not support the GD image library, check with your webhost if ImageMagick is installed"

I know the basics of using the plesk control panel and the basics on SSH but I wouldn't know how to install GD or ImageMagik. Can anyone help me with this?

You will need to ask your webhost to install them.

Then it's up to you to read the instructions provided by the makers of GD or imagemagick and get it installed.

We aren't experts in server configurations, so I recommend trying Google.  You'll get the info you need much quicker than you would here.
