restoring a database
« on: November 24, 2005, 11:17:41 pm »

Hi, my site was recently hacked and everything lost except my mysql databases. I want to re-install Coppermine using the same database as before. I've uploaded all the files and done the install page, but the 'new' coppermine installation isn't showing my old settings, eg the albums that were there, members ... everything that I believe is stored in the database. I've checked the /include/config.inc.php.sample file and everything there is correct as far as I know. So I'm wondering what I need to do to get my old settings back, and I would also like to know how I can find out what the tables prefix is/was.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks :)

You need to take a look at your database using phpmyadmin and find out what the old prefix was.
