Wrong Character encoding in eCards gives weird text.
« on: March 19, 2005, 04:50:17 pm »

Hi

First, thanks to the developer for this marvelous product.
It has it all...except the ability for users to create their own albums (no biggy).

Anyway, when I send eCards the link-text comes out weird. For example:

The text (swedish)...

Klicka på den här länken för att se fler bilder!

...comes out as...

Klicka p堤en h䲠l䮫en f?tt se fler bilder!

The Character encoding in the config is set to Unicode (utf-8) so that language will auto-change to fit the locales.

How can I work around this?

there have been various issues with utf-8 encoded language files in the cpg1.3.x releases; get a fresh copy of the most recent language files from the web cvs. Please report if this fixes the issues you had. If it doesn't, post a link to your site.

then stick to the boards created for your coppermine version, and don't cross-post!
