Force resizing in XP Publishing Wizard ?

Is it possible to force the wizard resizing pictures, or is it a clien-side feature we cannot deal with?

AFAIK, you can't force the XP upload utility - the client must choose to resize images.  However, the 1.4 beta supports automatic resizing of images during the upload process.
