I need to display the users galleries on the front page.  So here is what I've done.

1. Created a Group with the users name
2. Created Category with users name
3. Made user part of the group

However, how do I set it so that when a user logs in, they are able to just upload to their category which is their username?  It still says there are no albums that they can upload to but can't seem to find where I can set permissions to certain albums based on username.

From my understand so far that can't be done, the user albums are in the user section and that it. I'm still looking for an answer to this question about showing the user album on the front page but have not found the answer yet.

This might help you both (however its for cpg 1.2.x and you will have to modify it according for cpg 1.3.x)
