Upload using Batch Add
« on: November 16, 2005, 08:32:03 pm »

Hey!

I've uploaded my photos to the correct directory (/albums/photos1) and chmoded it, then i go to the Batch Add process, i select the directory  and the filenames appear, but the image thumbnail link is broken. I select all the photos and select the Album too, and then, the status icon link is broken too, and it returns no error. When i try to see them in the Album, the album is empty.
I think the problem is in the size of the files or the dimensions, because i've got another album, and i added the pictures with the batch add and it worked with no problem... The photos that i'm trying to add were taken from a digital camera...

Can someone help me?
Sorry my bad english :S

Thanks anyway

When asking for support on the coppermine forum, post a link to your site and a test user account (the test user mustn't be in the admin group!) with upload privileges.

You need to CHMOD the directory and all the files.  Verify the file permissions are correct.  You should also switch from ImageMagick to GD2.

Everything is CHMODed correctly, and i'm already using GD2 Ltbrary because my server doesnt support ImageMagick

Any more ideias?

Thanks everyone

when going to http://www.tryxter.com/fotos, I'm being sent to the install screen - this means that the install.lock file has been deleted. Did you start over?

Was this originally a TIFF image?  You can't just rename image.tiff to image.jpg, you have to convert using an image manipulation application.

You don't have permission to access /fotos/albums/raid/raid1.jpg on this server.
