Problem with uploading images

Hello

I have recently gotten a new domain for my site i had a sub before,since i cant upload any pics i get this message

Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script !

Anyone know how i can fix it?

check that you have CHMODed the albums folder and everything within it as suggested in the docs with 777 or 755 (depending on your server's config)

Ok thnx alot it works i had to set it back to 777 i guess during my name server changes it got reset or something

I have been experiencing this problem (Destination directory albums/userpics/10001/ is not writable by the script !)for a while now and after consulting the forum here, I understand why I have to CHMOD to 777 but have no idea how to.  I do not have much technical experience but any help as to how to check this would be greatly appreciated.

You can usually do this with your FTP client, shell access, or a web based interface provided by your host. We can't give you specific instructions since it depends what you are using.
