Before I download and install Coppermine, a few questions please:

1) How do users upload pictures?  Is it done via a user interface or must it be done via ftp?
2) How are uploads verified?  Can they be verified before published?
3) How does Coppermine integrate with YABB?  I saw that on the front page, but not sure what that means?

1) HTTP form upload, URI upload, FTP is available for admin, XP publisher is available for windows users.
2) Uploads can be set to require admin approval.
3) Coppermine can share user information and logins with forum software, this is called bridging. This forum is bridged with the demo, if you go there you will find you are already recognised and logged in without needing to register seperately.

Clarification on the approval process.  If I set the admin to approve all pictures, how does that work?  Can you user upload, then is it held in an approval area before posting or what?

Correct, it is held in a special section and only the admin can see them prior to approval. This can be set on a group by group basis.
