image folder
« on: November 10, 2005, 08:43:20 pm »

Hi,

I've chosen a normal folder for "albums" and it works fine.
But Iwould like to store the image files into the MySQL to save webspace.
Is it possible to change the patch later without loosing the existing albums?
The subfolders of album are existing in the DB and I don't even know why.
How would a patch to the DB look like for example?

Thanks

Saving space by using mysql will hurt you performance-wise. Keep the database for what it's designed for... data... not files.
