I get the following error when uploading any kind of file to any album.


The file 'albums/userpics/button1.gif' can't be inserted in the album
File: /home/david/public_html/db_input.php - Line: 392

1) Disable notices display if they don't mean anything to you, they're meant for developers anyway
2) There's no need to quote your own posting. I removed it.
3) Do as suggested in http://coppermine-gallery.net/tutorial/uploads/troubleshooting.php
