BATCH UPLOAD QUALITY ISSUES
« on: October 18, 2005, 06:17:01 pm »

Hello, I have searched boards and knowledgebase to no help.

However, here is my situation.

I recently moved servers.  New server have the minimum specs.  I have changed permissions of the Include and Albums directories, as I had not done it previously.

However, regular upload is not working correctly.  More concerning, is that my BATCH Upload is not working.

The quality of the image uploaded is maintained.  But the quality of the thumbnails and images are suffering.  I have re-uploaded a couple of times, but again, the uploaded image is fine.

Here is an example ...  Any ideas?

ANY IDEAS?  Thanks!

Looks like you have set GD1 in config, switch that to GD2.

Thanks Nibbler.  I think that helped.  I also had permissions problems that i found in another area on here.  I would also like to remind users of a "dumb" thing to forget.  Sometimes you have to force a refresh by clearing cache or you may get the same errors unnecessarily. :o
