Slideshow is disabled

Can anyone help me to enable the slideshow feature of coppermine? I recently had a site put up and found that this feature doesn't work. I searched the forums and was unable to find a soultion.

When I click on the slideshow button I get the following message; Slideshow is disabled.

I looked around and found a few sites that the feature does work on. http://tariquesani.net and http://www.harrypotterfanzone.com/gallery/index.php

Does the slideshow work with any of the other themes?

The slideshow does not work with other themes. the version is 1.3.1

upgrade asap, the most recent stable currently is cpg1.3.5
