Images vanished after Domain switch

Hi,
   I switched the domain name that I have associated with my account with my hosting provider and after that when I goto the new domain my Gallery is there but no image shows up. Why is this so? How can this problem be solved? Please help me out...

I tried to view the images direct, and got a 'you don't have permission' error.

Look into your htaccess files.

Thanks for the prompt reply. I tried to replace the old domain inside the .htaccess file with the new one but it didn't help. When I try to open the pictures from File Manager in Cpanel, they still don't show. Although they are there  :(

Temporarily rename the .htaccess file and see if that affects anything.

Post the contents of the file here and we can tell you if you need it or not. Remove any sensitive information if necessary.

I deleted the old file and a new file with the same name was created automatically. Everything's fine now :D
