Can't log in after install
« on: October 01, 2005, 10:23:57 pm »

I tried installing Coppermine 1.3.4 using Fantistico and after the install is complete, I can not log in with the user and pass that I put in during install. I have used Coppermine before about 2 weeks ago to test it out but I can't get this one to work. I tried setting up another site thinking that I typed in something wrong but that didnt' work. When I click the Lost Passwork link and type in the email I set up I get a Selected user does not exist.

Can anyone help me with this? Anything would be appreciated.

pass: test

Thanks,
Dave

Login using your email address as the password. The fantastico installer is faulty which is why we don't recommend its use.

Man you guys are quick. Thanks for the help and heres what happened so far. Nibbler, I tried the email thing and it worked. I've been working on this thing all night.

snork13, thanks for the idea. I was looking through the phpAdmin and found where I can change my user info, can I just change the password to what I want it to be there?

Thanks again.
Dave

Yes, you can change your password in phpmyadmin if you can't do it via the gallery.
