How to resuse the albums folder in the new install?
« on: September 22, 2005, 05:47:32 pm »

I have the backup of albums folder and dump of mySQL database. Somehow during the upgrade I lost the coppermine software on my server. I want to reinstall the coppermine 134 and reuse the old albums folder. Is it possible?

I have installed the cpg 134 and I am ready to run the install.php. Will it understand the albums folder and data in the database?

I also have the config.php and anycontent.php from the old install.

Thanks for your help.

That should be fine, just don't run the installer. Instead copy the old config.inc.php file into the new include directory and you should be all set.
