CAN I INSTALL AND CONFIGURE *before DOMAIN NAME REGISTRATION...
« on: September 07, 2005, 05:58:08 am »

What I mean is...

Can I install it and get it working, with only an IP address?   I haven't registered the domain yet, and wont for another few weeks... but need to get development started ASAP for branding.

Sure you can. You would need to update the ecard link in Config

What does that mean?  I'm  l'm reading the config file, and don't see anything about ecard.  I do see an ecard doc, am I supposed to edit something in there?

you don't edit a file, you click on the "config" button in your browser when you're logged in, that's all. Thu was suggesting that you will have to change the "link for ecards" once your domain name goes online. Just do the install and you'll see for yourself.
