I have an album with 8 pictures in it, but really it has more than twice that many photos .. when I click the "Edit Pictures" link, it shows them all, however viewing the album in 'regular mode' most are missing. (The ones that show are the new ones I added data via bulk upload)

The pictures missing were uploaded by a user (not admin) - I verified the folder they're in is set to 777

Any ideas? I tried searching the forum, but couldn't find anything

oh geez .. what a schmuck (me) ... they dont' show because they're not approved .. I make things so much harder than I really need to (figured it out by looking at the database .. drrrr  )
