unable to run install.php

Hi all,

was hoping for a little help on my Coppermine installation, i've uploade all the files to my CGI server, and CHMod'ed all the files to the correct settings, but when i try t run install.php, i get the following message:



CGIWrap Error: Execution of this script not permitted

CGIWrap Error: Request Error

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

There is a problem with the request. Please contact the owner of the site you are trying to access.


Any hrelp that you cvould give on how to get past this would be very welcome  ;D

Heya,

what kind of webhost do ya have?
It seems, that you are not allowed to execute 'foreign' scripts, but from the server owner.

While waiting for more answers check your contract / ask the server support, if you are allowed to excecute install your 'own' scripts.

Hi, thanks a lot for your help,

the problem indeed turns out to be more simple - the ftp client i use turns out to dislike chmod'ing whole folders, selecting all the files individually and chmod'ing it solved the problem :o)
