How do I upload an image?

How do I upload an image from the administrators side? I've tried countless times and yet it still hasn't worked for me. What am I doing wrong? I uploaded coppermine from my domain area and I have all permissions. It keeps coming up with the following errors:

I can't see anything wrong with where I'm pointing the file.

I changed an image to a zip file but it still wouldn't upload.
