Ecard Lenght of URL is very long
« on: April 07, 2005, 12:20:01 am »

Sorry let me preface this by saying I have updated to 1.4 and I never looked at this before in 1.3 and if this is a new issue shame on me and sorry.

How long is the URL for the ecard pickup for everyone else? I just sent one to my self and the token itself was huge maybe over 100 characters.

Sorry again if this is a 1.4 issue and I am getting ahead of everyone.

It is long yes. It contains all the information needed to display the ecard - the ecard *is* that string. The length would be affected by things like the length of the message.

Check out the following post for a suggested patch to 1.3.3, which you could manually apply to 1.4.X
